PAUL & SANDY'S ANNUAL WHALE
WATCHING & PIZZA PARTY
April 18, 2004
It was a gray and overcast Sunday afternoon and we drove out to the Obester's By
The Sea for the annual whale watching party. This year Paul & Sandy
had horns scattered around the place in case of a sighting.
What an array of tasty nibbles were set out on the table!
They also had a nice array of wines (we'd selected a bunch of new things to go
along with the golden oldies from their cellar).
Mushroom hunter Henry Moore found what has to be a record-sized trophy.
Marjorie had a prime seat in order to keep an eye open for both wine and whales.
Henry explained to Doug Obester about driving a race car in fire-proof
I think she was showing him pictures of whales to help in case one was sighted.
The Gemello wine was especially popular.
I can't remember why Sandy wanted to check this guest's tonsils.
Meanwhile, Jesper was busy with the start of pizza making!
The first pizza!
More Mushrooms stuffed with Sausage.
There was a big plate of cornichons near the various pats, so I wasn't
surprised to see Henry Moore by this table.
Meanwhile, the first pizza was ready!
And so was Paul Obester.
The crowd was full of pizza-makers!
It's a modern art project!
Another Pizzaiolo starts working on his blank canvas.
