Wine Food & Friends Page 93
On a Sunday in late October, the famous Dr. Diane returned home from a
far-away place where she was attending a bio-tech conference. She had a
few hours to whip up dinner for Bob, a co-worker, some wine friends and me...
She's not only a whiz at splicing genes...
After a bottle of Txakolina from Txomin Etxaniz we opened a bottle of a lovely Albario
from Pablo Padin. Diane had prepared some little nibbles...
Then we sat down for her famous homemade soup and a bottle of Floresta Rosado, a
dry Spanish pink wine.
Bonnee & Bobee.
Diane then served a little lemony palate cleansing sorbet
before the salmon main course...
La Chef de Cuisine
Some artiste enjoyed a nice serving of vittles and the
vino wasn't bad, either.
A 2002 Clos-Vougeot of the Chteau de la Tour was nearly as outstanding as the
Lynn offers a toast to the chef...
The chef grinds a bit of seasoning for the final touch...
Doctor Steve says "Hey...those French make some nice wine!"
Dessert...a nice Beerenauslese Riesling from Schloss Schonborn.
Many thanks, Doc!
