BOB COOKS AFTER THE CHTEAUNEUF TASTING
After tasting some rather nice wines from the Southern Rhne, Bob prepared a
nice dinner for us.
We began with the new Ros Champagne from Veuve Clicquot.
Nibbles to go with the Champagne.
Bob had prepared some vittles to be grilled...
Rabbit, Mushrooms and Fennel.
Bob prepared some calamari to be served atop a garlic-rubbed bit of toasted
We tasted a couple of Verdicchio wines with this seafood plate.
Bob fired up the grill and, voila!
I especially enjoyed the 2001 El Vinculo Reserva. The Domaine de Chevalier
was from the 1995 vintage and it was good, but not spectacular.
The rabbit, however, was excellent!
Some fresh berries for dessert and we drove home...
