A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR
We began the festivities at Filoli and a
nice little tour of the spring garden...
Meanwhile, inside the house Jonathan had some breads
Jonathan pulls some beer from the keg...
We then embarked on a tour of the various gardens...
I teased them about the apparently "dead"
hedge...but it's some sort of tree that, when cultivated as a tree, sheds its
leaves in the Fall. When it's cropped as a 'hedge,' the leaves remain
until new growth appears...
Then we headed over to Chateau Moore for some comestibles
Henry opened some bottles of bubbly...
The main course was Henry's Smoked Tri-Tips...
A cheese course followed...
Then Bob mentioned there "being no time like the
