Lots of good vittles!

Cliff Spencer and Marjorie Martin.
It was a beautifully clear day on the coast and we DID actually see a few
whales!

There were plenty of pizza toppings for the
"Build-Your-Own" part of the festivities.

Host Paul Obester "Works" the Pizza Dough.
I was impressed that he didn't end up "wearing" it.

We would have had to shoot him had he incorporated pineapple in his pizza making
regime.

Whisper not only built some good pizzas, he also took care of baking them in the
hotter-than-hell pizza oven.

Nice pizza.

It Takes About 5-6 minutes in this "Micro-Wood" Pizza Oven.

Pizza's Ready!!!

And the wines weren't bad either!
Highlights included the Ponzi 2001 Arneis, Chateau Sainte-Marie 2001
Entre-Deux-Mers, Lano Barbera d'Alba, Bonny Doon "Il Circo" Uva di
Troia and Gemello 1970 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Retired Winemaker Mario Gemello shows off a bit of history: 1970 Gemello Santa
Clara Cabernet.
It was so good, Mario had to taste it.

More Pizzas were coming out of the oven.

Jonathan made some good pizza....

Carmen had a good "sense" of assembling pizza.

This is called "asking for trouble." Anybody that would let this
guy be in charge of burning pizzas is very foolish!

This is another "version" of "trouble." Someone let
Amy loose and she made a pizza topped with avocado. Forgot the pepperoni
and sausage, though.

There IS Hope.
An experienced "pizzaiola."

Kendyl Kellogg tries her hand at making pizza.
What's next? Wine??

The ocean outside the Obester's home...

The California Coast is spectacular!!!

While we were watching for whales, the pelicans were prowling for pizza!

Whale Watching is tough work.
