Cooking With Bob
After a lovely blind-tasting of Southern Hemisphere Malbec
wines, we adjourned to Chez Bob.
Henry Moore was delighted to find a magnum of chilled Laurent Perrier "LP
Marjorie is a big fan of Champagne.
While we enjoyed some nibbles and bubbly, Bob was busy preparing a Provenal
fish stew and a Veal Roast.
Bob's wooden spoon moves quickly!
Henry! (that's how we're spelling his name, now...with an exclamation point)
enjoys another sip.
Bob's Fish Stew was outstanding.
We paired it with two French Ros wines:
Domaine Ott 2000 &
Mas de La Rouvire 2000 Bandol Ros.
The diners were split as to the better wine, so we drank them both!
The Young, Lovely and Alarmingly Intelligent Hollis Grant.
Alexia is, as usual "attacked" by a variety of reptilian scallywags.
Hollis is "transported" by the Provenal flavors and wine to a French
seaside fishing village, not far from the vineyards.
Meanwhile, Bob is cooking some potatoes to go with the veal roast and morels.
A trio of 1998 Bordeaux "seconds" are to be "tasted" and

Hollis survived a long day in the Chamber's salt mine, plus a wine & food
